The significance of the ley lines at St Michael's Mount
In recent times there has been a deeper understanding that the Ley lines and the energies associated with them are connected with the health and fertility of the land and those that inhabit it.
They can be thought of as vital currents of the creative life force that lies behind the physical world.
The nodes, where major Lay lines cross, are always found at a site of particular spiritual significance.
St Michael's Mount is just such a node where the Michael and Mary lines that travel across England bisect the Apollo and Athena lines that travel across Europe.
It was famous as a centre of Druid worship from earliest times. A Benedictine Monastery was built there in 1135.
Nowadays it is owned by the National Trust.
Books & Publications on this subject include:
- The Sun and The Serpent by Hamish Miller and Paul Broadbent
an account of the tracking of the Michael and Mary lines - The Dance of The Dragon by the same authors
An account of the tracking of the Apollo and Athena lines cross Europe.
